Leilani Farm Sanctuary

A paradise for rescued animals here on the beautiful island of Maui. Lumeria Maui invites our visitors and guests to experience the joy of voluntourism by joining a volunteer group on Mondays or Wednesdays at 9 am to help with projects at the tropical sanctuary. Make a meaningful difference in the lives of the animals and visitors at this beautifully maintained and important community organization.

Maui Cultural Lands

A Maui-based grassroots land trust organization whose mission is to stabilize, protect, and restore Hawaiian cultural resources.

Historic Hawaii Foundation

A passion for telling stories about people, history and culture through the celebration of historic buildings and communities. HHF explores, preserves and nurtures diverse cultural and historic places of Hawaii.

Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center

A nonprofit, non-degree granting, community based visual arts education organization offering access to quality programs, classes and teachers.

TEDx Maui

TEDx Maui brings together the most innovative and inspiring minds and provides an opportunity to broaden understanding and knowledge in order to make Maui one of the most exciting and promising places to live and work.

Pa’ia Youth & Cultural Center

The center's mission is to provide a safe place emotionally and physically for the youth of Pa’ia and surrounding communities, which offers a variety of social, educational, cultural, vocational, and recreational activities.

Sustainable Living Institute of Maui

Sustainable Living Institute of Maui is committed to optimizing Maui’s economy by helping people build skills that are compatible with the community’s cultural choices and economic aspirations; sharing eco-effective methods; and serving as a living laboratory and classroom for building and managing holistic communities.

Best Buddies Hawaii

Best Buddies Hawaii is a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-on-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Hawaii chapter programs continue to expand and flourish as they partner children with and without disabilities to share and experience community activities.
