Information we collect

We collect information from you when you make a booking through our reservation system or stay at Lumeria Maui. Information collected during your reservation and during your stay may include:

  • Your name, email address, home and business address, phone number, nationality and payment card information;
  • Information such as stay, and room preferences made during the course of your reservation such as your preferred room type and specific requests to the hotel.

This information may be provided to us directly when you make a reservation through our websites or directly at the hotel. In some cases, we may receive this information from a third-party, such as when you book through an online travel agency.

How we use this information

We use the information collected from you primarily to fulfil your retreat reservation for overnight lodging at our retreat center. Prior to your arrival this may include sending you information about our retreat center or sending you pre-arrival communications. Following your retreat, we may also send you post-departure communications and satisfaction surveys to get feedback on your experience.

We also may use information related to your stay to display targeted advertisements on our websites or on third-party websites or to send you more relevant messaging. Additionally, we use this information for purposes of aggregated trend and statistical analysis to evaluate and improve our products and services, plan new retreat center locations and services and other market research.

We take the utmost care to ensure that the Personal Information we obtain from you is not used in a way that you may be unaware of or are not agreeable to. If you wish to participate in one of our promotions or subscribe to our e-mail or postal mail lists we may ask for information such as your name, email or postal address. Typical information includes:

  • Plan and purchase your immersive retreat, including your overnight accommodations
  • Enter your email to communicate about marketing, promotions and surveys
